Privacy Policy
Effective August 24, 2026 · PILOT-1
This founder-prepared policy covers the Skyvon public website, the Skyvon Pilot owner-pilot application, and the Skyvon Operations platform during its invitation-only founding beta. It has not yet been reviewed by an attorney.
This Privacy Policy explains how Greer North State Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), the company responsible for Skyvon, handles information submitted through skyvonaviation.com, Skyvon Pilot, and the Skyvon Operations web and mobile applications.
Information we collect
Depending on how Skyvon is used, we may process account and profile information; organization and role information; aircraft, flight, logbook, crew, maintenance, squawk, fuel, expense, vendor, pilot-currency, medical-currency, compliance, document, invoice, and other operational records; files and notes submitted by users; support correspondence; authentication and device-session identifiers; product interaction information; audit activity; and security or diagnostic records.
The public website does not collect payment-card information. Its inquiry and founding-beta forms collect the information a visitor chooses to provide, such as name, work email address, organization, operation type, approximate team size, and message.
Skyvon Pilot local records and Cloud Backup
Skyvon Pilot is local-first. Aircraft, flights, logbook entries, maintenance, squawks, expenses, pilot currency, document details, and settings remain usable on the device. If a user creates a Skyvon Account, we receive the name and email address they provide, authentication and device-session information, and account-security activity needed to operate and protect the account.
Skyvon Cloud Backup is user-controlled. When a user chooses to save a backup, supported Pilot workspace records are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in encrypted form so the user can restore them. Private attachment files currently remain on the device; a backup may include the attachment's name, category, and related record information, but not the file itself. A user can delete the Skyvon Cloud Backup account from within the app. Local records remain on the device until the user removes them or resets the app.
Skyvon Pilot writes a flight to Apple Calendar only after the user requests it and grants permission. Skyvon does not upload the user's Apple Calendar as part of that action. Local notification permissions are used only for reminders the user enables.
How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, support, and improve Skyvon; authenticate users; apply permissions; preserve operational history; respond to inquiries and support requests; administer the founding beta; investigate reliability or security events; maintain business records; and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use Skyvon product data for targeted advertising.
Organizations and authorized users
Skyvon is provided to aviation organizations. The subscribing or beta organization decides which authorized users may access its workspace and what operational information they may enter. The organization is responsible for its users, permissions, lawful instructions, and decisions about the records it places in Skyvon. We process that information to provide the service and follow the organization's authorized instructions, subject to security, legal, and retention requirements.
A private Skyvon Pilot workspace is separate from an organization's Skyvon Operations workspace. Connecting the two does not automatically give the organization access to private Pilot records. Information moves between them only through a user-selected import or another explicit sharing feature described at the time of use.
Service providers and integrations
We use service providers to operate Skyvon, including Render for application and database hosting, Amazon Web Services for protected file storage and related security services, Sentry for error diagnostics, Resend for service email, and Apple for iOS distribution and TestFlight. The public website may also use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse and privacy-conscious traffic measurement.
If an administrator chooses to connect an optional integration, such as QuickBooks Online, relevant business and financial records may be transmitted to that provider to perform the requested connection. Connected providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices.
Retention, export, and deletion
We retain active account and operational information while needed to provide Skyvon. Audit, security, support, backup, and business records may be kept for a reasonable period to protect the service, investigate events, meet contractual commitments, or satisfy legal and aviation-record obligations. A Skyvon Pilot user may permanently delete the cloud account from within the app and may request an export, correction, or deletion by contacting us. An authorized organization administrator may make requests concerning its Operations workspace. Requests may be limited where preservation is required by law, an active dispute, security needs, or the organization's recordkeeping obligations.
Security
We use role-based access controls, tenant separation, encrypted network connections, protected infrastructure, logging, monitoring, and other administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the beta. No system can guarantee absolute security. Security concerns should be reported promptly to the address below.
Cookies, analytics, and tracking
Skyvon uses the storage and session technologies necessary to sign users in, protect accounts, remember authorized settings, and operate the service. We do not use product data for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising. Limited technical and diagnostic information may be used to understand reliability, security, and how product features function.
Children and beta availability
Skyvon Pilot and Skyvon Operations are aviation products intended for adult users and are not directed to children. The Operations founding beta is currently limited to approved United States operators and authorized adult users.
Your choices
You may ask us to provide, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. Skyvon Pilot users may also delete their cloud account in the app. If an account or record is managed by an aviation organization, we may direct the request to that organization or coordinate with its administrator, subject to applicable retention requirements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Skyvon and the founding beta develop. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
